Design Consultation
We’ll chat about what you love most about your family and how to best tell your family’s story. At the consultation we’ll plan all the details, including wardrobe, so that you will have a portrait session that is fun, meaningful, and relaxing. We’ll also create a plan to decorate your home with your images. Finally, we’ll design a portrait that reflects your family and makes a statement in your home.
Portrait Session
Relax and enjoy a stress-free portrait session. This is a time to sit back, relax, have fun, bond with your kids, and, above all, let me do all the work. One of my strengths is patience, and you will be amazed at how active toddlers, bored teens, and reluctant dads enjoy the session in my expert hands. In addition, you will love the natural expressions and connections we capture.
Reveal Session
Prepare to be wowed when you see your images for the first time! Since I will help you choose the images and products that work best for your home, the process is easy. In addition, you will be able to see what the images will look like on your own walls so you can have complete confidence in your choices. From the first phone call to the delivery of your portraits, I’ll take care of you every step of the way.

FAQ's
Newborns are unpredictable. When you arrive, you will have time to feed your baby in a soothing, quiet environment, so your baby is sleepy and comfortable. I’m great at helping a baby to fall asleep, but if your child doesn’t want to sleep, that’s ok too. Newborn sessions are usually longer than a typical session. That is because we take the time for breaks, feeding, soothing to make sure your child is comfortable. Also, your child’s safety is the #1 priority. Parents are often amazed at the great pictures of their child that I capture when they might think he’s not cooperating. This happens because I am patient, use positive motivation and am great at finding those “moments”.
Time is short. Your children change every day. And every day they look to you for love and approval. Don’t put off creating your “love letter”. I know how to light and pose so you will always look your best. Often, you will just be a prop for your child, so only a portion of you will be in the portrait or you will be in shadow.

It’s best to book your newborn session before your baby is born. Newborn portraits are best done within the first 10 days after birth. That is when your baby is sleepiest and will still curl up into the cutest poses.
Give me a call a month or so before your due date, and we can put a tentative date on the calendar.
