I am so happy that my portrait of Karl won a Blue Ribbon! I entered it in the competition held by the Guild of Professional Photographers of the Delaware Valley. The competition was held on Sunday at Dennis Kelly Photography. There were so many great images by talented photographers in the area. I am excited that my portrait of this adorable dog was one of the images deserving of a merit.
This pup was about 6 months old when I photographed him. He is a great dog, so sweet and gentle, despite his large size and occasional clumsiness. He was a great poser, and patient, for a dog. He also is a playful guy, and loves balls and stuffed toys. He loves to play with other dogs once he gets to know them.
I hope I have the opportunity to photograph Karl again some day!
