Sophie was kind enough to model for me as I tried creating an image that is a bit different than what I normally do. I like darker backgrounds but wanted to try a photograph with a light background. I like that most all you see is her face. She was a great model! She is such a sweet dog!  My constant companion. Beautiful Day for a Wedding

What a gorgeous location! What a perfect day! The Lake House in was beautiful, as usual. The leaves had turned colors, the sun was shining, and there even was a sailboat on the lake. Of course, the bride looked stunning. Everything for the wedding had been picked out with such care. The families were joyous. I love when you can easily see how much love there is between the bride and groom and the families. When we were photographing the first look, the groom found a baby turtle beside the lake. I love going to Cast Your Cares ministry in Kennsington on a Saturday afternoon to feed and talk with people who live in the area. Members of my church, Good Shepherd Lutheran, and Washington Crossing United Methodist Church go down there once a month. I enjoy the people there. They are so grateful that we cook for them and serve them. They all have very interesting stories to tell. There is one man in particular that I  look forward to seeing.
