My daughter is a beautiful, accomplished young woman. I have always loved spending time with her, but now that she is an adult, it is even more fun. Last weekend was all about connecting with family – my sister and I spent the weekend with my daughter and niece. 
My daughter and niece both live in Richmond, Virginia. The weekend was warm and sunny. Many leaves were still on the trees; people were out on the street walking their dogs, shopping , and eating outside.
We visited University of Richmond where my niece is studying (and the alma mater of my daughter and sister). It is a beautiful campus!
Richmond is full of fun, interesting restaurants, and we ate our fill. They also have a great art museum, so we spent the afternoon exploring the museum.
But the best part was sharing stories, food and fun with my family!
