You probably don’t like being in front of a camera. (I know I don’t.) And, of course, you’re a busy person. You have a business to run, a family to take care of, a life. You don’t want to take time to update your business portrait. “How important could my headshot be, anyway?” you might think.

- Is it out-dated? – Does the hair style or clothing give away that it was taken in the last decade? Or is it an image you love because it’s of your younger self, but you don’t look that way any more.
- Does it reflect the personality of you or your business? Is it too formal when you run a casual business, or the other way around? do you look approachable, relatable, if that’s your personality?
