My daughter is a beautiful, accomplished young woman. I have always loved spending time with her, but now that she is an adult, it is even more fun. Last weekend was all about connecting with family - my sister and I spent the weekend with my daughter and niece. My daughter and niece both live in Richmond, Virginia. What a gorgeous location! What a perfect day! The Lake House in was beautiful, as usual. The leaves had turned colors, the sun was shining, and there even was a sailboat on the lake. Of course, the bride looked stunning. Everything for the wedding had been picked out with such care. The families were joyous. I love when you can easily see how much love there is between the bride and groom and the families. When we were photographing the first look, the groom found a baby turtle beside the lake.
